If the accident wasn't your fault, we will provide you with a replacement vehicle to drive while we fully repair yours, delivered to you in perfect as-new condition.

Because we always tailor our service to each member's individual needs, we have the flexibility to deliver this replacement vehicle to wherever you tell us will help you the most. So this can be:

• to your home, or
• to anywhere else in the UK that you ask us to

So for example, if you're on holiday in the UK and our replacement vehicle will enable you to carry on with your holiday, then simply tell us where you are and we'll deliver it to you there instead of to your home.


What do we mean when we promise a "like-for-like" replacement vehicle?

Because our whole aim is to put you back to where you would have been had the accident never happened, the particular vehicle we deliver to you is provided on the basis of the following very simple guidelines:

• The vehicle we deliver to you will be of equivalent specification or better when compared to your own
• Any car, any van, any light commercial vehicle will be replaced on this like-for-like basis
• Prestige cars will be replaced on an exact match basis - i.e. the exact same make and model as your own
• Mainstream cars, vans and commercial vehicles will be replaced on a category like-for-like basis - i.e. the exact same type* of vehicle as your own.
• If your vehicle is an automatic then the replacement we provide can be automatic too, if you want it
• If your vehicle had a towbar then the replacement we provide can come fitted with one too, if you want it

* Category like-for-like replacement: if your vehicle is, say, a Renault Espace large family MPV, then we'll deliver you either another Renault Espace or else a car of equivalent large family MPV type, such as a Ford Galaxy or Seat Alhambra. If yours is a 4x4 then we'll deliver you another 4x4. If yours is a large saloon car, you get another large saloon car. And so on.

All the vehicles in our fleet are either brand new or nearly new and great pains are taken to valet every vehicle to the highest standards so that when you receive it, it will be indistinguishable from brand new.

Our delivery drivers are nearly all older former professional gentlemen and ladies for whom courtesy, politeness and all the important aspects of good service are second nature, and he or she will make sure, before leaving the vehicle with you, that you are familiar to your satisfaction with the controls and features of the vehicle provided.
